Ladybells

Scientific name: Adenophora lilifolia
Although it is called ‘bell’, this plant only resembles a bell flower. It is a plant with a tall stem on which blue flowers are scattered. A delightful flower, it can be admired during the months of May – August. It needs spaces in meadows or forest margins with little shadow. It is a protected plant which, unfortunately, is a rare find, being threatened by excessively cutting down forests, as well as the poor maintanance of grasslands through excessive grazing or use of chemical substances.
