Scientific name: Circus
pygargus
It is bird of prey that measures 41-47 cm in length and 110-115 cm in
wingspan. It has a lively elegant flight and a silhouette that reminds of the
common kestrel. It builds its nest on excessively humid terrains, meadows and
agricultural fields, at ground-level. It feeds on small mammals, lizards and
insects.
