Lesser spotted eagle

Scientific name: Aquila pomarina 
It is a migrating type of eagle, with wide wings and relatively short tail. Its body measures 55-65 cm and its wings, 143-168 cm. It is a long-distance migrating species. It predominantly consumes rodents and frogs, occasionally lizards, baby birds living in nests on the ground and insects. It hunts both from the air and from places where it lurks, waiting for its prey.
