The
name of the red-legged mountain grasshopper comes from Latin, meaning
precisely red
legs.
The body is green, and it has a black line on the sides. The back
legs are red-brown. It can be spotted from June to September in
mountain and hill meadows, but the preferred places are the bushes in
forest clearings.
