Fenton's wood white

Scientific name: Leptidea morsei 
Fenton’s wood white is a butterfly that proves slow in flight, being easy to track and follow. It especially feeds on the nectar of the Lathyrus flowers. On the leaves or the stems of the Lathyrus plant, the female lays eggs in isolation. It is a butterfly that prefers habitats formed by clearings in association with mature and humid deciduous forest areas. It has two flight periods during the year: middle of April / middle of May and middle of June / end of July.
